Meet the Dentist

Fred N. Hanosh, DDS

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAI have had the pleasure of practicing dentistry in the Paradise and Chico areas since 1975. I graduated from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska and have completed many other continuing education programs. This includes advanced training by completing a 3 year program in Orthodontics and a 5 year program in the certification of TMJ and Craniofacial Pain. I am also a member of the American and California Dental Associations, International Association of Orthodontics, International College of Oral Implantologists and am Fellowship eligible in the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain.

With over 40 years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of TMJ-head and neck disorders, I provide IME’s along with medical/legal documentation and verification of injuries. I am certified by the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain in the diagnosis and treatment of soft tissue injuries resulting from Motor Vehicle Accidents. In addition, I have lectured health care providers on diagnosis and treatment of TMJ disorders and reconstructive implant dentistry. These health care professionals include physicians, dentists, chiropractors and physical therapists. I also evaluate and treat snoring and sleep apnea disorders as well as single or multiple teeth replacement through dental implants and orthodontic therapy for mis-aligned teeth and jaws. However, nothing is more enjoyable in our profession than helping one restore their smile!

I reside in Paradise, California with my wife of over 46 years, Arlyss. We have 3 sons, Aaron, a hygienist, Dana, a corporate pilot, and Grayson, a metal fabrication specialist. We have 3 grandsons; Trevor, Gavin, and Chase and 3 granddaughters; McKenzie, Marli and Kori; all of whom live in Denver. When I am not in the office I enjoy fly fishing, golf, woodworking, and snowmobiling with long-time friends. But nothing compares to taking a ride on my Harley with my wife; it is always an adventure!
